MATCHA COCONUT SMOOTHIE BOWL RECIPE

This nutritious and oh so delicious matcha bowl will be your new favorite breakfast. It’s filled with tons of energy filling goodness to get you through the morning. Matcha is powdered green tea that has a whopping 140 times more antioxidants than brewed green tea. Amazing! Pair this with protein-rich almonds, the healthy fats of coconuts and the potassium goodness of bananas. You have one powerhouse meal!

INGREDIENTS: Serves 2

  • 8 ounces frozen banana

  • Two 2-ounce packs of frozen coconut meat purée

  • 4 teaspoons matcha powder (try to find an organic high quality matcha)

  • 2 tablespoons raw almond butter

  • ½ cup filtered water

  • 1 cup organic cleaned mix of blueberries, raspberries and blackberries

  • ¼ cup of raw organic almonds (slivered or crushed)

PREP:

  1. Combine the frozen banana, coconut, matcha powder, raw almond butter and water in a super powerful blender.

  2. Blend until the mixture is smooth. You can add a little more water if needed to keep that smooth consistency.

  3. Pour into 2 bowls. Add the berries and almonds on top. Enjoy every single bite!
